Welcome to Little Giants Preschool!

Our Mission: "Collaborate to Educate"

Belief Statements:

  • Play is the way children learn naturally. It helps them to develop in all areas.
  • An appropriate early childhood learning environment is safe and includes many hands-on experiences that invite children to investigate, learn, and share.
  • Teachers must use a wide range of teaching strategies, including both child-initiated learning and teacher-directed activities.
  • All children, including those with special needs and second language learners, can benefit from a developmentally appropriate preschool program.
  • When families are an integral part of a school program, children's self esteem and achievement are enhanced.
  • Social/emotional readiness is critical to children's success in school and in life and should therefore, be a main focus of the preschool program.
  • A print-rich environment that allows children to practice literacy skills in real-life experiences, along with purposeful teaching of key concepts, is the foundation of literacy learning in preschool.

YOU'RE INVITED: Bye Bye Birdie on stage Nov. 3 & 4

Posted on Oct. 23 2017 by Patricia Gibson, Communications Director
News Blog Category - News The Marion High School Speech and Drama Association is bringing the classic rock-and-roll musical “Bye Bye Birdie” to local audiences next week. This is a fun, family-friendly show that you won’t want to miss!

MHS students will bring the 1960s to life on stage at the Walton Performing Arts Center, as teen heartthrob Conrad Birdie prepares to say goodbye to stardom in a very public way, as he heads into military life after being drafted for service. Decades after its debut on Broadway, this high-energy show is still a vibrant and fun look at the relationships and life-changing decisions that teenagers face.

Show times are at 7:30 on Friday, Nov. 3, and Saturday, Nov. 4. Tickets are general admission, and $8 for adults, $5 for children/students.

Bye Bye is presented by arrangement with Tams-Witmark music Library Inc.
